INVESTMENT FOR THE LONG TERM – OKUMA U4000

In April RET received their first Okuma machine for over 30 years – back to the future! We have worked with NCMT machine tools for 12 months to specify a machine that would meet our needs – and more importantly those of our Customers.

A 5 year contract with a major aerospace customer for military equipment has driven a long-term development programme in gear skiving – a technology new to RET and which resulted in this high-specification machine being selected for this project.
