JOB PURPOSE

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers.
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the company and the customer.
- Monitor and track sales activities, including forecasting and reporting.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the sales management team on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Stay informed about product developments, industry standards, and technological advancements in CNC engineering.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the CNC engineering industry
- Demonstrable experience of B2B sales
- A Valid UK Driving license
- Proven ability to understand the complexities of prismatic machining/turning and sub-contract operations of a part
- Able to conduct statistical analysis and compile estimates, plans and forecasts
- A Valid UK Driving license for visits to clients
Desirable
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, equipment, and applications
- Use of 3D Modelling Viewer
- Market knowledge within the sub-contract machining market, particularly Aerospace and Defence
- BSc/BA in Business, sales or relevant field, a second European language
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

- Monday to Friday, 8am -5pm
