As Marketing Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and co-ordinating marketing strategies and campaigns. You will also have the opportunity to work for various companies within the group from alternate industries. You will gain experience and showcase your skills in various industries such as IT and Art.
This role includes supporting the development and execution of marketing plans. For instance, managing marketing projects, materials, co-ordinating events and promotions, conducting market research, analysing marketing data, and assisting with digital marketing efforts. The Marketing Co-ordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing activities, maintaining brand consistence, and contributing to the overall success of the Company.

- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for marketing initiatives.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Work with department heads and managers to develop campaigns that will grow the R E Thompson brand.
- Maintain marketing databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Maintain documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Researching and producing news releases, reports, and written features.
- Conduct market research and analyse market trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Track and analyse project performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Create marketing materials; our products and services, ensuring brand guidelines are met on all internal and external materials.
- Responsible for the distribution of marketing materials.
- Responsible for content creation of social media channels and be the main point of contact and support for all aspects social media related.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and communicate them effectively to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to suggest innovative marketing ideas.
- Demonstrate and reinforce core values at every opportunity.
- Manage marketing activities for group companies.
- Any other duties as required by the Managing Director.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within a marketing or advertising environment.
- Strong branding, leadership, content strategy and execution background.
- Proficiency in using marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and social media management tools.
- Familiarity with market research, marketing campaigns and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability as a strong storyteller and crafter to establish differentiation.
- LinkedIn Experience with a wide range of digital communications tools including Facebook, Google Ads, Twitter and other advertising platforms.
- A valid UK Driving License.
Desirable
- Developed marketing materials and plans in a B2B environment.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
